Historical Significance:  Alexander Hamilton commissioned renowned architect John McComb Jr. to
          design a country home on his 32 acres Harlem estate. The two-story frame Federal style house
          was completed in 1802, just two years before Hamilton's death resulting from his duel with
          Aaron Burr in 1804. The house was named "The Grange" after Hamilton's grandfather's estate
          in Scotland. The Grange was the only home ever owned by Hamilton and it remained in his
          family for 30 years after his death.

Description:  Dating back to 1697 the Queens County Farm Museum it occupies New York City's
          largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland and is the only working historical farm in the

          that is the longest continuously farmed site in New York State. The site includes historic farm
          buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an
          orchard, herb garden and vineyard .

          highly recommended for all visitors. Reservations guarantee admission and can only be booked
          a minimum of seven days and up to three months prior to your desired visitation day—same
          day reservations are not accepted. Tickets are valid for the date and time indicated.
          Reservations can be made Tuesday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. by speaking with
          the Group Coordinator at (212) 833-8100. Same Day Admission Tickets can be obtained by
          visitors without reservations, but please NOTE that there are only a certain number of tickets
          set aside for walk-up visitors each day. These tickets are distributed on a first come, first
          served basis beginning at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday. As a result, walk-up visitors
          are encouraged to come early, as tickets go quickly. Tickets are valid for the specific time
          indicated. Please be aware that July and August are typically our busiest months. The Lab is
          also busy when NYC public schools are enjoying holiday vacations.

Historical Significance:  Theodore Roosevelt was born at this site in 1858. The original house located
          here was built in 1848 and purchased by the Roosevelts in 1854. The family lived here until
          1872 when the family moved uptown. The original building was demolished in 1916, but rebuilt
          by the Women's Roosevelt Memorial Association in 1919.
